How the hell do you keep track of all that? I have absolutely no idea how many pics I've taken with mine... do you keep EVERY photo?

Well, while I am a serious anorak when it comes to my photos, it does help that the camera can be set to sequentially number the files.

It does help that yes, I do keep every single image, whether it's good or not. Partly because I can learn from figuring out what I did wrong, and partly because in some cases what I thought was a rubbish image has worked in full or in part for something else at a later date, or as my photoshop skills have improved, I've been able to turn it into something more worthy.

It also helps that I keep the photos in folders sorted by year, then month.

So I have a folder for each year, then under that a folder for each month. In that folder goes all the original images as they came off the camera.

It's fair to say that the collection takes up a fair amount of HD space, just for the original images, never mind all the photoshop files, the print files, and the assorted "for web" files kicking around.

Hrm. Which reminds me, I really do need to buy a spindle of CD-R media.

An all too familiar scene but this has to simply be the BEST picture I have ever seen of The City.

FANTASTIC stuff.
