Well, we're moved. I have the aches, bruises, scrapes and very tired friends (you know who you are, and thank you!! we couldn't have done it without you!) to prove it.
There is really nothing like having to pack up your entire worldly possessions to make you realise how much stuff you have, and apparently, we have loads of it.
The new flat is lovely, although still looks like a bomb has hit it, but I don't care. It's ours and it has hot water, and for now, that's enough for me.
More tales to follow...
Congratulations on the smooth move. Hope everything goes well in the new place.
Gah! NOW how am I going to find you?
Congratulations, sweets. Can't wait to hear more about the new place.
Congrats on the move, even if it means you are in trendy Islington rather than dahn Cammen Tahn.
Hope you settle in quickly and easily.
Michael: Thank you
Mike: You'll find a way - and you're welcome to come stay any time, although I'm afraid that you won't have the honour of being our first "guest" in this flat.
Mark: While the building might be fab, I'm fairly sure we're not in the trendy part of Islington - and to be honest, I much prefer Cammen Tahn. The only thing that could make it better would be if they could have picked up the building and dropped it at the top end of Parkway.
