Camden Town Tube station and surrounding areas are well known for being a haven for goths, punks and various other people who like to express themselves through their appearance.
Halloween round here looks like any other time of the year - there really isn't that much of a difference.
The only difference I could tell last night, when coming out of Camden Town tube station, was the pair of bratlets standing there, bucket in hand (for money, not sweets!) screaming Trick or TREAT! as people came out of the Tube.
My evening was made by the black cloaked gentleman with the painted white face who was approaching us (presumably on his way to the Electric Ballroom). Upon hearing said brats and seeing me roll my eyes, he caught my eye and smiled before leaping to one side, right into the face of one of the brats and growling at him.
Unsurprisingly, the brat promptly got the fright of his life, and I suspect his mother had a load of washing to do last night as a result.
Classic moment.
O that did make me luagh!
The brats do come out at Halloween. They were driving us to distraction by ringing the doorbell, so we escaped to the pub for the evening - well tried to anyway! It seemed the brats followed us there.
I can just imagine the whole thing happening!!
