Traditional Cold Cure

cold cure

Since the chicken soup doesn't appear to be working, I figure it's time to change the approach.

You have hit upon the perfect course of action. Vitamin C, washed down with plenty of hot whisky and honey. It doesn't work as a cure, of course. But it makes being ill a lot more bearable.

I hope you're feeling better soonly. Take care.

Hmmm...Hot lemonade and whiskey saw off many a childhood illness...

...thanks mum!

A good long shot of Kentucy whiskey usually does the trick.

Vitamin C? Hot Lemonade?

Surely the plan is to get outrageously drunk so you completely forget you have a cold (or even a nose probably)

I support the old remedies - whisky, lemon juice, honey and a spalsh of boiling water. Never had a cold me (just 2 liver transplants, but we won't mention that here will we?)

Couldn't hurt.

I hope it works.

I LOVE your chicken soup "trials and tribulations" - that's gotta be the worst part of being sick :). Next time you're sick give me a heads up - I'll mail you some chicken soup with directions attached..lol.
