One reads the Observer, one reads the Sunday Times, one reads the Sunday Sport.
It feels like there ought to be a punchline there, but I'm too full of cold medication to get to it.
Further up the line, a group of Morris Dancers stand around in a car park, looking cold and faintly miserable, in what I'm sure was a very earnest, but ultimately uninspiring, farmer's market.
A child further up the carriage screams, intermittently. I wish it'd either go to sleep, or it and its parents get off the train.
No such luck.
Weekend engineering works are irritating when you forget about them until you're almost on the train, but having a cold will get you a seat and lots of personal space.
