Hello. First of all, thanks for your photoblog. I’ve been reading/viewing it since last Autumn. And congratulations on your new job and your new squirrel. I’ll be brief here and more informative later, if you want to continue a conversation. I work at the University of Surrey and I have a year’s worth of public funding to study personal photography on the internet. I’m especially interested in how all of the personal photography out there might change how we think about what photographs are and how they work. As part of the research I’d like to talk to some UK folks who post photographs and I’m wondering if you would be willing to talk to me about your blog and your photos. I’m very flexible about how we talk, how long we talk, where we talk, etc. Just let me know, initially, if you might be willing and we can discuss the details in subsequent emails.

In any case, thanks for all the time you’ve put into your blog. It’s been great fun to watch over the last few months.

So you've got to get to work by 9am now? With a little effort I'm sure that you can do it . . .
So how did the first day go? Have you had a celebratory drink yet? Or does that have to wait until pay day?
