What's the difference, I hear you ask, between the best, and the 2nd best breakfast in the world. Ever.
958 days, 20 hours and 38 minutes.
Same cafe.
Same table.
Same position at said table.
Same menu.
Different choice.
No cocoa or icing sugar though.
That looks like Balans in Compton Street. I'm sure it's not, but it certainly looks like it.
May you have many more bestest breakfasts in the world.
From the food shown, I can understand why you might think it's Balans.
The one and only time I've been to Balans I had eggs benedict with smoked salmon and it was very good, and ranks as perhaps the 3rd best breakfast I've ever had, even given that I was eating it at 11pm on a Wednesday night.
It's not Balans though. :)
How bizarre, I was going to say Balans too. Until I remembered that my hairy left arm and watch are on the right-hand side of the shot and that I haven't been to Balans this month.
Doh, that would be my right arm. I meant your left if you were facing me and I was facing a ninety degree angle away from the polar axis into the sun in a windward direction.
Hmmm makes me hungry just looking at it....
I too thought immediately of Balans when looking at the food (though on closer inspection something about the presentation and/or decor wasn't right).
If nothing else, such collective agreement makes them a very good recommendation.
