1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I'm a bit of a fibre snob. Natural fibres are best, but a bit of acrylic is fine (like sock yarn).
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
A clear plastic starbucks-esque frappuccino cup, a jack daniels fudge tin, and a clear pencil case
3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I've been knitting for about 18 months now and I taught myself from the internet. I'm probably intermediate now.
4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Yup. An Amazon wish list.
5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products, etc.)
Spicy and citrusy things - cinnamon, ginger, orange, green tea, etc.
6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
Yes, but I'm trying to cut back.
7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?
I'm a photographer, and I bought a spinning wheel earlier this year.
8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
Pretty much anything, except Rap and R&B, and yes, it can.
9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand?
Favourite colours are berry shades. Not a huge fan of pastels or orange and yellow, otherwise, anything goes.
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I live in a flatshare which is sadly petless.
11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
Yes, yes, yes, no.
12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
Depends on my mood. Socks are very satisfying. Hats are fun. Scarves are also fun. Wristwarmers are easy. Shawls tempt me but I've not finished one yet.
13. What are you knitting right now?
A shrug, two shawls, a cardigan for my niece, assorted other things.
14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
Oh yes.
15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
I heart my addi turbos.
16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?
Yes, both.
17. How old is your oldest UFO?
Probably about 7 months.

Don't really have one.
19. Is there anything that you collect?
Dust? ;)
Yarn, fibre, books.
20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?
Most things are in my wishlist. Can't think of anything I'm particularly lusting after right at this moment.
21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?
I really want to get a handle on lace and blocking it. My ambition is to spin enough lace-weight yarn to knit a shawl from.
22. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?
Yes. My foot is just short of 9" long and about 8.5" around.

I feel the same way about shawls - love them - but have yet to finish one yet. I am getting there slowly.... on the Lace lead Shawl.
