Getting a new hairdo. Samson may have stored his strength in his hair, for me it's how good I feel about myself. Good hair = happy me. Bad hair = grumpy me.
New people commenting. Comments, end of, make me happy, but new comments from people who've never commented before are just that little bit more special.
Further to the above, people (Jono) who write a list in a comment and use the proper coding for an unordered list. This makes my inner geek very happy.
The look of utter confusion on the faces of a bunch of people who just happened to be in the pub where our fabulous group of yarnholics meet when the mechanical toys came out.
Arriving 3 minutes early for the last train from Highbury & Islington rather than 3 minutes late
The prospect of pie. The proper, home made kind.
Chocolate
Napster having a surprising amount of the music recommended in the previous post.
Feeling sleepy before 1am

Well what mostly caused the consternation was the swift and the ball winder.
