Under the Tulips
The Story
Dan asked for the 6th of April, but the only photo I had for that date was a really hideous one of me, taken in the toilets at work before I went for my first London haircut (which cost me over £80!! - how little I knew then...), so this is the next and nearest best thing.
If I can remember rightly, I bought these tulips from the fabulous flower stall that used to be (and might still be) outside Archway tube station, on my way home, and they're photographed here, all moody and monochrome against the backdrop of the night sky through the arched dormer window of my little desk alcove.
I really loved that room, and the tulips were pretty too, while they lasted.
