Swing
The Story
Sometimes a swing is just a swing, but this one somehow isn't.
It's got a story. A story that explains exactly why it was painted orange, and why it got it's little baby bum shaped seat. A story that explains which hands rubbed off which bits of paint, leaving which bits of shiny metal exposed to the elements. A story that explains how the label got removed from it's now empty spot, and how many hands have held it's chains or pushed it's back.
Infused in it's very being is the laughter of who knows how many children.
For now though, it is still and quiet.

Comments
Great shot, there's a lot of story in the tiny details, as you say - the chipped paint, the twisted chains, the missing label, and everything else!
It seems a bit empty and sad though, but in a way that makes you think: swings seem to want kids to enjoy them, if you know what I mean...
