Sunset Silhouette
The Story
Ken asked what I was doing on September 11th 2001.
Well on September 11th I was actually off work, at home, preparing to move to London, and so glued in shock and horror to the TV that I didn't take any pictures.
This particular photo was taken three days earlier, when I went out in the evening to take some photos in the garden and wound up going for a walk, in my bare feet, about a mile down the main road. I just followed the sunset and trying not to think about the fact that I'd just been made redundant, my Dad was undergoing treatment for cancer and I was moving to London in less than three weeks time.
