Room with a view
The Story
So I've made it to Birmingham, and have managed to luck into what must be the biggest hotel room I've ever had.
It has not just one, but two double beds, and a really excellent view across a car park to the canal, and through two buildings to the Birmingham Eye.
It's made even more atmospheric by the almost full moon.
Lovely.
Maybe Birmingham really isn't shit after all...

That'd be the waning gibbous moon. I think the word gibbous needs more exposure on the internet.

Great image; you almost make Birmingham look like somewhere worth visiting. But then, even you're not that good! Mario Testino couldn't manage that. Nicely done, though, love it.

Yeah, its real nice.
So is that going to be the new tourism motto for Birmingham? Birmingham: It's not shit.
Beats "Glasgow: Scotland With Style"...

Marvelous picture. I like how the moon ads a romantic tuch to the city skyline. Good photo !
