Middle of the Road
The Story
After spending a good hour poking around Savoy Buildings in aid of that week's challenge for The Way We See It, I found myself standing on the traffic island in the middle of the Strand.
At first I busied myself trying to take photos of the entrance to Savoy Buildings, but my efforts were continually foiled by traffic getting in the way.
I eventually took the hint and turned around to capture the streams of traffic rushing past me.
Somehow, the traffic seemed to speed up as it went past me, and I wound up with a touch of vertigo as I looked at the screen on the camera and realised I was sandiwched between two buses and the swirling air currents were almost strong enough to knock me off my feet.
