Drowning, not waving

The Story

Technically, this is graffiti, but I prefer to call it art.

The rescue ring painted on the black wall caught my eye as I walked home - enough to draw me across the road for a closer look... at which point I noticed the drowning man painted on the ground, reaching for the ring.

Sadly, the ring is now gone, and the man is still drowning, with no hope of rescue.
