Autumn Leaves
The Story
I have a kind of inner soundtrack sometimes. When things happen, it'll trigger a song playing in my head.
This year, since the trees have started to turn, Autumn Leaves has taken up residence, even though it's not particularly relevant to my life right now, but somehow, it's gentle melancholy is staying with me.
The falling leaves
Drift by the window
The autumn leaves
Of red and gold
I see your lips
The summer kisses
The sunburned hands
I used to hold
Since you went away
The days grow long
And soon I'll hear
Old winter's song
But I miss you most of all
My darling
When autumn leaves
Start to fall

Comments
Wow, ISO 1600? I'm surprised this isn't really grainy. I really like the colors, I would maybe opt for a bit of the ole unsharpen mask to bring some detail out in the leaves. Great shot.
