The old Prudential building, isn't it? I used to go to college around that way, it was a great place to be around at night - not in terms of things to do, but just in terms of "bright lights/ big city".
Thinking back further, years and years back I had a mate from Chester down to London for the first time. Just before we crossed Holborn, she turned to me and said: "I've never crossed a road this big before...."
