The biggest, fattest squirrel in the whole wide world.
Ever.
Yes folks, I have myself a new squirrel friend.
Yes, that means this is not my first squirrel friend.
Yes, I'm aware that makes me a bit odd at best, and a total nutcase at worst, but I haven't had a pet since I moved to London, can't get one and damnit, squirrels are cute and don't shit on the carpet.
[those of you who aren't aware of my nuttiness (I'll stop with the bad puns eventually, honest) about squirrels can look here, here, here and here for evidence]
That is a seriously huge squirrel. And a squirrel would be a good pet - they fend for themselves and find their own food. Easy!
(by the way - when I go to log into TypeKey to comment here, I get a message that you're not signed up for the service?)
Re: the typekey thing, for some bizarre reason it doesn't work across different domains, so because my MT install is on a different domain it fails.
Also, although I enabled typekey login and put the token in the config before I discovered the above, disabling the login doesn't seem to have updated whatever bit of MT generates the code for the comments and I can't figure out which bit to take out to get rid of the login thing. It's all a bit bizarre, but hopefully I'll get rid of it when I finish the redesign.
(I think you're the only person ever to try and use typekey to comment here, so sorry it didn't work)
Awwwww....
A squirrel that size has got to have some big nuts.
I poision squirrels. Well, only when they infest my loft like they did a few years ago. Not me personally, but some pest control chap. He fed them some pellets that led to their stomachs exploding.
Tragically this happened when one of them was trapped under our floorboards.
...mid-summmer as well.
Phew, wot a Stinker, etc.
Whoa! Maybe he thinks you're food?
I have a question about squirrels.
When I was younger I was told you shouldn't encourage (ie feed) grey squirrels because they were making red squrrels extinct by beating them up for food and stuff.
I haven't seen a red squirrel since... ever.
Have they made the reds extinct (or at least very very rare)?
And if so, does this mean we can now feed the grey ones without worrying about the red ones?
Thank you for your time in pondering this matter.
You know..it is the winter months..maybe he can't find food, and you're his only hope. If you work hard at it, you could become the squirrel queen, which, according to urban legend, comes with a really spiffy tiara.
