From experience it does get easier.

Keep holding her (and him) in your heart. That way you'll never lose them.
Yesterday, the 8th of November, was the 5 month anniversary of my Grandfather's death. In June of 1991 my Grandmother died, and just as your Grandmother never fully recovered from the loss of her husband, my Grandfather never got over the loss of his wife.
There's something about the relationships of our generations Grandparents, something that I just don't see in people today... something I wish I could see.
Not a day goes by that I don't miss my Grandmother and Grandfather. It's good to see other's that were touched by their Grandparent's in such a way they pay tribute on their weblog. As trivial as it may seem, it sure does mean something.
