I'm not sure why it is that I feel little or no impulse to blog when I'm at home and have access to fast internet connection, but as soon as I go anyplace and have the laptop and mobile out I feel a real urge to brag, uh, blog.
So anyway, I'm currently just leaving Peterborough station on the 13:05 service to Leeds, where I will then catch a train to the lovely town of Harrogate, which is to be my home away from home until Sunday morning, while I indulge in a weekend of debauched geekery.
Geeks, computers, alcohol and food (not necessarily in that order). Ahhhh... bliss.
Show off.... (and yes I am jealous)
Enjoy meeting up with your friends, darling. Have fun.
I would like to lodge a complaint. You refer to the town of Harrogate as "lovely", yet you do not attach such a prefix to the fine city of Leeds. Why is this?
Do I win 5 pounds?
The reason one doesn't blog from home is the inevitable smugness of being satisfied somewhere with the world far away :)
