STUNNING!
Did you wait around for this shot or just get lucky with the sky?
Technically it was both, as all the previous photos were taken because it was too wet and miserable to take photos of the Gherkin when we initially got there, and we went for a wander round Spitalfields instead.
We'd pretty much given up for the day and were walking back towards Liverpool Street Station when we rounded a corner and there it was.
The Gherkin.
The other buildings.
The light.
Perfect.

Though I'd have cropped a little of the bottom. Guess that's just a personal preference. . .
