Taken in the fantastically named Blue Ball Yard, which we discovered while searching for Pickering Place, so we could join in this week's challenge on The Way We See It.
You were 'searching' for Pickering Place?
Bet it didn't take you the two hours it took me to find it. I bought an AZ in the end.
Forgive me for asking this but if you had no idea where it was before starting out, why didn't you look on the map before you left?
Well to be fair, searching is a bit of an exaggeration - more like wandering down the road, peering at alleyways looking for the right sign.
Probably would have helped if I'd had the map the right way up and could tell my left from my right too... :)
*makes mental note never to ask you for directions*
I love the angle on this!
And by the way, while looking for Pickering Place we learned that St. James and DUKE ST/St James are slightly different.
And I had directions. Ooops! But I know where Christies is now!
I've always found that area of London (where Pall Mall and St. James's Street join) interesting.
I can never think of a reason why I would ever go into one of the shops down there though.
I' OK for cigars, umbrellas and hats at the moment ...
