Please update your feed subscription
Posted on: March 2nd, 2009 | Filed under: asks | Tagged: feed | 3 Comments »If you’re one of the lovely, lovely people who’ve remained subscribed to pixeldiva even though I barely wrote anything last year and all you’ve been getting is flickr pics and the odd delicious link, first of all, hello! it’s been a while. Second of all, thank you. It’s been nice to know that in the event that I actually wrote something, at least a few people (outside immediate family and friends) might have read it.
As part of the sweeping programme of change recently instituted around here I’m moving away from feedburner, so I’d be awfully grateful if you could change the feed subscription to http://www.pixeldiva.co.uk/feed/ as soon as possible, so I can stop using feedburner.
Thank you.
Why are you ditching feedburner? Just curious…
While I was partially hiating, I had various reports that it was flaky, and I’ve noticed the same thing on Feedburner feeds I subscribe to.
Yours, for example, has shown me the picture of the burger and the picture of your cat at least four times now :) It’s not a problem, it just feels like it’s taunting me with things I can’t have ;)
I also don’t feel like I was getting anything from Feedburner that I can’t get natively through WordPress, and I’d rather have everything in one place. I did try the Feedburner stats in WordPress plugin, but couldn’t get it to work at all.
You know what, I’ve realised that I don’t really need Feedburner any more either. I’m following your lead.
